Dr. James Scherman, OD, is a primary care optometrist in St. Louis, Missouri at Clarkson Eyecare. Dr. Scherman grew up in Chicago and came to St. Louis in 2002 to complete his undergraduate degree at Saint Louis University. He then when on to obtain a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri Saint Louis (UMSL) College of Optometry in 2010 and joined Clarkson Eyecare, practicing optometry in Chesterfield and then moving to the Central West End office in 2011.
Dr. Scherman stays active in continuing his education in optometry and is a member of the Missouri Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. He is currently accepting new patients at Clarkson Eyecare in Downtown St. Louis and Central West End. Dr. Scherman lives in Richmond Heights with his wife, their two daughters, and their Australian cattle dog.
