Effie M. McGowan, OD, has been with Clarkson Eyecare in Perdido for eight years and has been in practice for 24 years. She graduated from Illinois College of Optometry with her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and her Doctorate of Optometry diplomas and before that Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She is also a proud US Navy wife and mother to four daughters.
