Dr. Micheal Rohde has been practicing for 34 years. While in optometry school, Dr. Rohde conducted research in the areas of contact lenses and corneal physiology and was the co-author on three publications during that time. Dr. Rohde graduated second in his class and received awards for outstanding achievement in contact lens research and clinical skills. Dr. Rohde volunteers and serves on the board of the eye care charity, Eye Thrive, which has provided eye exams and glasses to over 20,000 children in the St. Louis Metro area who could not otherwise afford eye care or glasses. Dr. Rohde has been on several Medical Mission trips to the Dominican Republic with The Pujols Family Foundation and plans to continue serving in the future.
