Karina Lanning, OD, is originally from Columbus, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Lanning continued her education as a proud Buckeye at The Ohio State Univeristy College of Optometry and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016.
Dr. Lanning completed her internship training through the Columbus V.A. Medical Center and Erdey Searcy Eye Group, an ophthalmology practice that focuses on cornea and cataract care. Prior to joining Clarkson Eyecare, Dr. Lanning worked in eye care practices in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Northern Virginia. Her areas of professional interest include primary eye care, contact lenses, ocular disease management, and co-management of cataract and refractive surgery.
Dr. Lanning enjoys traveling internationally, cheering on the Buckeyes, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to be back in Ohio and looks forward to providing you with the best optometric care for your needs.
