Dr. Karen P. Krotine, OD, has been providing full-scope optometry and eye exams in Alexandria since 1995. She became interested in optometry as a young adolescent as her optometrist played a large role in addressing her readily changing vision needs. Dr. Krotine received her undergraduate degree from Boston College before moving on to attend Southern California College of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Krotine is a member of several optometric professional organizations, including the Virginia Optometric Association and the Northern Virginia Optometric Society. A favorite aspect of optometry for Dr. Krotine has been caring for multiple generations of several families in the practice. Outside of the office, she enjoys travel, cycling, swimming, hiking and watching her daughters compete in their athletic activities.
