Dr. Jonathan Thayer is a St. Charles native. He provides optimal vision for his patients by treating ocular disease, fitting specialty contact lenses, and offering children visual freedom through myopia management. Dr. Thayer completed his undergraduate studies at Truman State University and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry where he received rigorous training in ocular disease, contact lenses, and low vision.

Dr. Thayer's dedication to patient-centered care earned him recognition at the College of Optometry, where he received the Clinical Excellence in Low Vision Award. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and St. Louis Optometric Society where he continues to stay up-to-date on the most recent research and practice standards in the field.
