Jonathan Nguyen, OD

Jonathan Nguyen, OD, is a comprehensive optometrist in Frisco, TX at Clarkson Eyecare. Dr. Nguyen is familiar with the Dallas-Fort Worth area, growing up in nearby Allen, TX. Before pursuing optometry school, Dr. Nguyen worked for Frisco Eye Associates as an optometric technician, before it was Clarkson Eyecare. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas, before continuing his education in San Antonio at the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry to receive his Doctorate of Optometry.

While obtaining his doctorate degree, Dr. Nguyen completed his externships at Southwest Vision Center in North Richland Hills, TX, working in primary care and Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, TX, which mainly served a low-income population. During his time in optometry school, Dr. Nguyen held leadership roles as Vice President of the Student Government Association and as Public Relations Officer of the Private Practice Club.

In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys hanging out with friends, watching football, and spending time with his fur babies.
