Joe Ellis, OD

Dr. Joe Ellis, OD, has been practicing full-scope optometry in Benton, Kentucky since 1986. He has earned the Expanded Therapeutic Procedures certification and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Ellis has a special interest in the area of patient advocacy especially as it pertains to patient's access to optometric care. He currently serves as the Advocacy chair on the Medical Executive Board at EyeCare Partners and is also active in legislative and governmental relations at the state and national levels. Dr. Ellis is a past president of the American Optometric Association.
