Jennifer Ham Major, OD, was born in Pensacola, Florida and is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Vision Science followed by her Doctorate of Optometry in 2004 from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Major has over 15 years' experience in comprehensive eye care with special interest in functional medicine as it applies to vision and overall eye health.
Dr. Major is a long-time member of several optometric professional associations, including the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and West Florida Optometric Association. She served as secretary, treasurer, and president of the West Florida Optometric Association throughout her membership. She was awarded "Most Outstanding Local Society Member", voted on by her peers. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog.
