A graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Class of 2002), Dr. Winterbottom brings over two decades of experience treating both children and adults with a wide range of visual conditions. He is particularly passionate about managing complex cases in a calm, caring, and patient-centered environment.
Dr. Winterbottom specializes in fitting scleral RGP lenses, corneal RGP lenses, and other specialty contact lens modalities for patients with keratoconus, corneal scarring, post-surgical needs, and irregular corneas. He also offers myopia control therapy for younger patients, including MiSight® soft daily lenses and Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT).
A retired U.S. Air Force Major and former Chief of Optometry (1992–2014), Dr. Winterbottom is proud of his military service and leadership background. Outside of clinic life, he enjoys traveling thousands of miles each year to coach and watch ice hockey with his children.
