How Do I Schedule an Appointment at Clarkson Eyecare?

Scheduling an eye care appointment online at Clarkson Eyecare is as simple as clicking on the “Schedule Your Eye Exam” button at the top of every page. You’ll be taken to a locations page where you’ll be prompted to enter your state, city and zip code to find the nearest Clarkson Eyecare. Click on your preferred office and fill out the form. Follow the on-page instructions until you get to the appointment confirmation page.

I Need to Reschedule My Appointment. Can I Do That?

Absolutely! We understand things come up from time to time. If you know you will be unable to make your scheduled appointment, we ask that you notify us within 24 hours of your appointment time. If a same-day reschedule is required, we will work with you to find the next available appointment to fit your schedule. Please call your Clarkson Eyecare office to do so.

What is Clarkson Eyecare’s Late Policy?

At Clarkson Eyecare, we strive to provide the best eye care experience possible to all of our patients. To do this, all of our doctors, technicians and staff attempt to make each appointment efficient and productive. If a patient is more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment, they may be asked to reschedule. As a general rule, we ask that all new patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, and all returning patients arrive 10 minutes prior. This ensures each patient has enough time to complete paperwork, update insurances or payment information, etc.

Does Clarkson Eyecare offer Walk-In Eye Exams?

Clarkson Eyecare does have walk-in appointments available at select locations. We welcome you to stop in anytime. If you know which location you’d like to visit, you can call them directly to check availability. Even if no appointments are currently available, we may be able to put you on a wait list to notify you of availability should another patient cancel their appointment.

How Much Does an Eye Exam at Clarkson Eyecare Cost?

The cost of an eye exam at Clarkson Eyecare can vary  depending on your specific vision health needs. Certain eye conditions requiring specialized testing and treatment can increase the cost of your visit.

Which Insurances Does Clarkson Eyecare Accept?

In general, most Clarkson Eyecare offices accept United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, VSP and Eyemed. However, not all locations or all doctors accept the same insurances. What is Clarkson Eyecare’s Eyeglass Frame Return Policy?

Clarkson Eyecare is dedicated to helping you find the right pair of glasses that fits your lifestyle perfectly. Each of our locations uses a state-of-the-art optical lab to ensure you always get lenses that best meet your needs. That being said, we know things don’t always work out according to plan. If you are unsatisfied with your eyewear purchase, we welcome you to come back in for our staff to restyle you in a new frame.

Does Clarkson Eyecare Offer Same-Day Eyeglasses?

At this time, we do not offer same-day eyeglasses. Our eye doctors are committed to providing the highest quality lenses for your vision correction, and this can take time to make precisely and correctly. Depending on the strength of your prescription and any selected optical add-ons (anti-glare, transition lenses, etc.), your glasses can take up to 10 business days to craft.
