About Veronica Byun
Dr. Veronica Byun is an optometrist practicing in Alexandria and Lake Ridge, VA. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Byun completed her clinical training in ocular disease at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, as well in low vision rehabilitation and primary care throughout private practices in Pennsylvania.
Her interest in optometry was shaped by accompanying her grandmother an eye appointment, where she saw the impact of compassionate communication and quality eye care. Dr. Byun looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and serving Korean-speaking members of the community.
Outside of work, Dr. Byun is a certified yoga teacher who enjoys traveling with family and friends, and participating in mission trips caring for underserved communities.
