Theresa Batac, O.D.

Dr Batac is a native of Hampton Roads, Virginia. She earned a BS degree in Biochemistry from Old Dominion University and a Doctor of Optometry degree from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus at Drexel University. After graduating with honors in Primary Care, Pediatrics and Low Vision, she has spent over twenty years, compassionately serving patients in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and Norfolk. Dr Batac was elected by her colleagues to serve on the board of the local chapter of the Virginia Optometric Association and was honored to serve as a past president. She has earned a reputation, amongst both colleagues and patients, for her clinical excellence and compassion in eyecare.

Dr B, as she is affectionately known, takes great pride and joy in helping her patients to achieve their visual best, by offering the latest diagnostic techniques and medical treatments. She especially loves catching up with her long-time patients and welcoming their second and third generation families to the practice. When not in the office, you would likely find her spending time with her family, walking her beloved dogs, tending to her flowers and yard, or traveling.
