Richard Carrigan, OD, is a Lansing, MI optometrist at Clarkson Eyecare. Dr. Carrigan, who is from Lansing, decided on Optometry as a career after being fit with rigid contact lenses for the first time when he was playing high school basketball. Dr. Carrigan is a member of Michigan Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and was awarded the Key Person of the Year award from the Michigan Optometric Association. He has also been Co-Chairman of the Michigan Optometric Association for the last five years, and is board certified by the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Carrigan enjoys the friendships, relationships, and the laughs he has experienced with many of his patients over the years. In his free time, Dr. Carrigan enjoys time spent with his wife, three children and six grand children. He also enjoys golf, basketball, MSU sports, reading about history and traveling to Europe.
