Lizabeth Marquart Fenstermaker, OD

Dr. Lizabeth “Libby” Marquart Fenstermaker, OD, attended Truman State University for her undergraduate studies. She was active on campus as a Truman Leadership Scholar and as a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at UMSL, where she made the Dean’s List with honors and graduated in 2021. She has completed externships in ocular disease, pediatrics, contact lenses, and more.

Dr. Marquart’s passion for optometry began in her hometown of Washington, MO at just 16 years old when she shadowed a local optometrist. Soon after, she began working as an optometric technician and continued throughout her schooling. In her free time Dr. Marquart enjoys reading, dancing, and spending time with her husband, family, and her dog.
