David Sawyer, OD

David M. Sawyer, OD, has been practicing optometry in Elk River, Minnesota for over 35 years and graduated from Elk River High School. Dr. Sawyer specializes in hard-to-fit contact lenses and medical optometry. He is a current member of the Minnesota Optometric Association and has received an Outstanding Service Award from the organization.

Dr. Sawyer has made numerous medical mission trips to Guatemala and Nigeria delivering eye care to those in need in the rural areas of these countries. Dr. Sawyer also has a passion for skiing and is a member of the National Ski Patrol and patrols locally at Wild Mountain. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family doing outdoor activities.
