Dr. Dickson graduated from optometry school in 1976. He worked in an ophthalmology practice for 11 years concurrent to starting a solo practice in central Ohio.
He was involved with medical eye care and received his license to practice the treatment and management of ocular disease in 1992.
He also was involved in the political arm of Ohio optometry and was on the board of the Ohio Optometric Association for 8 years before becoming the second youngest president in Ohio history. He has been on numerous state and national committees to expand the professional role optometry plays in the health care arena.
Outside of the office Dr. Dickson is an avid cyclist, hiker and skier.
