Dalena Nguyen, OD

Dalena Nguyen, OD, is a comprehensive optometrist in Frisco, TX at Clarkson Eyecare. A dual-citizen originally born in Toronto, Dr. Nguyen was raised in Texas just outside of Houston. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas, before continuing her education in San Antonio at the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry to receive her Doctorate of Optometry.

While obtaining her doctorate degree, Dr. Nguyen was awarded the College of Vision Development (COVD) Excellence in Vision Therapy Award and the Dr. Mervyn Bloom Make a Difference Scholarship, which exemplifies her passion for serving her community and every patient who sits in her chair.

When she’s not in the clinic treating patients, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time traveling, doing pilates, strength training, and going on hikes with her dogs.
