Claire Cortner, OD

Dr. Claire Cortner is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing through, personalized eye care to patients of all ages. Originally from Festus, Missouri, she earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Missouri State University and went on to achieve her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. While in optometry school, Dr. Cortner was recognized with the Clinical Excellence in Ocular Disease award as well as the Dr. Ray Myers Outstanding Leadership Award.

Dr. Cortner takes pride in building strong relationships with her patients and is passionate about helping them achieve their best possible vision. She is excited to begin her career in optometry and is committed to continually expanding her knowledge to provide the highest quality care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cortner enjoys spending time outdoors—especially golfing and hiking. She lives with her husband and their cat, Sylvie, and proudly roots for all things St. Louis, including the Cardinals, Blues, and St. Louis City SC.
