Clarkson Eyecare

&lt;p&gt;Clarkson Eyecare&#39;s vision therapy and pediatrics clinic is interested in hiring a caring and compassionate Vision Therapist to join our growing team. The VT will be responsible for implementing programs developed by optometrists in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will also collaborate with facility staff to enhance the physical, mental and social well-being for patients. If you have a background in occupational therapy or prior vision therapy experience, we encourage you to apply but it is not required.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Essential Duties and Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Analyze relevant medical information to determine appropriate rehabilitation goals&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Consult with rehabilitation team to choose effective activity programs&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Coordinate vision therapy with other types of therapeutic activities&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain accurate records of patient treatments&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in educating patients with home exercise programs and use of equipment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Participate in education and staff development course&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Required Skills and Abilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;High School Diploma or GED&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Knowledge of principles, methods and equipment used in vision therapy&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Able to understand and interpret complex written or verbal instructions&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Excellent customer service skills&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
