Dr. Whitney Roberson Miranda, OD, graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University 2014 with clinical honors and completed her specialized rotations in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy, Contact Lenses and Cornea health, Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation. She also received her Bachelor of Science Degree as Magna Cum Laude in Biology and minored in Chemistry in 2008 from South Carolina State University.
Dr. Miranda currently practices eye care in Kissimmee, FL at Clarkson Eyecare. She sees patients for all eye care needs, including pediatrics beginning at 4 years of age and above - with a focus in corrective lenses for patients with binocular vision issues and special needs. She sustained clinical practice in providing primary eye care and co-management for postoperative care.
She is an active member in the Black Eyecare Prospective, Inc., Optometry Divas previously known as Women of Optometry, American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians and National Optometric Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Miranda enjoys traveling the world, cooking outstanding cuisine and event planning.
