Dr. Anita Mody (Mo-de) is an accomplished optometric physician who is renowned for her expertise in vision correction, soft contact lens fittings, and the precise diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and myopia management for children.
Dr. Mody was born in New Jersey and moved to Georgia when she was 6 years old. She graduated from the University of Georgia and then went on to pursue her doctorate degree at Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Her specializations include eye diseases, contact lenses, pediatrics, geriatrics, and primary care; reflecting her dedication to holistic eye health.
Dr. Mody was inspired to go into optometry by shadowing the field and these experiences led to her discovering the transformative potential of enhancing people’s vision.
